He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra McGovern; his children, Desiree Sides (late Kevin Sides, Sr.), Danielle Amerman (John), Thomas McGovern and Dana LaBar (Robert); his grandchildren, Kiersten of Karli, K. J., Alexis, Blane and J. P. Dear; and his siblings, John McGovern (Joan), Francis McGovern (Kathy) and Monica Bishop (late Jack). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
