She is survived by: her daughter Gina Cannon (Daniel); her grandchildren, Joseph Cannon, Christopher Cannon, Nicole Cannon (Nathan), William Trost and Charles Trost (Tara); and her great grandchild Sylvia Garcez.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325 in honor of Sylvia's memory.
