He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Downey and Marie Downey; and his brothers, Timothy, Jack and John Downey.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Downey; his children, Kim Craven (Stephen), Robert Downey (Lauren), Timothy Downey, Jeff Downey and Matt Downey (Daneen); his grandchildren, Amanda, Owen, Luke, Grace, Ella, Reese and Delaney; and his great grandchild Hazel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (1731 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
