He was predeceased by: his father Edmund Gowland; his wife Marlene (Strauss); his son Paul D. Gowland; and his brother James D. Gowland. He is survived by: his sons, Mark P. Gowland (Sandy) and Jeremy C. Gowland (Freda); his grandchildren, Victoria (Tim), Samantha, Johnathan, Nancy and Gabriel; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Liam, Caiden, Anastasia and Lorenzo.
