She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Helm (Allen) and Herbert Helm; and her husband Edward F. Freeling, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Edward F. Freeling Jr. (Vicki) and Laura Hadfield (Don); her grandchildren, Edward F. III (Sarah), Donny (Quin), Brad, Alyssa and Callie (Kevin); her great grandchild Mason; and her extended family, Brooke, Jared and Carlie Nigro.
