He was predeceased by: his daughter Lynn Marie; his grandson Domenic Joseph; and his brothers, Leland, Leroy and Carl.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Mae Schrier; his children-in-law, Vincent Schrier and Lorraine Gearhart; his son Carl Gearhart; and his siblings, Leona Neely, Lois Broyan, Sandra Workman and Larry Gearhart.
