With solemn reverence, we commemorate Frances C. Smith (Bensalem, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on February 18, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances M. Dion, (Snyder) and Edward R. Dion, Sr. (Croydon); her son James E. Smith, Sr.; and her siblings, Edward R. Dion, Jr. (Astella) and Anna Fritch (George).
She is survived by: her children, William H. Smith, III (Patricia), Edward W. Smith (Janice), Frances C. McClosky (late Anthony), Joseph J. Smith (Linda) and Diane M. Ptasznyk (Bob); her daughter-in-law Joan Smith; and her brother James Dion (Donna). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home (2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Hills Cemetery (101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006).
