Barkmeyer of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McGovern and Isabella Clair McGovern (Sweeney); and her siblings, Robert McGovern Jr. and Joan Weigel. She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Barkmeyer; her sons, Gregory Barkmeyer (Jennifer) and Douglas Barkmeyer; her granddaughter Jordan Hrynkow; her sister Mary Archer (Robert); and her close friend Frances.
