He is survived by: his children, Kim Takita (Paul), Charles Takita (Maggie), Kent Takita, Pamela McGlew (Kevin), Matthew Takita (Kelly), Monique Szczyrbak (Greg), Valerie Takita (Jen) and Kevin Takita; his siblings, Elsie Nagoshi and Larry Takita; and his niece Cori Leonard.
