She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Lydia Smith (Kramer); and her husband Palmer R. Hood. She is survived by: her children, Richard H. Hood (Linda), Bill Hood, Sr. (Sue) and Diane Hood-Van Duyne (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Kim (Chuck), Bill, Jr. (Teriann), Mike, Brian (Meg), Chrissy (Chet), Matt (Kim) and Jason.
