He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry Grable and Mary Ellen Summers (Carbaugh); his adoptive father Leroy Summers; his wife Betty Grable (Rexroth) of Thurmont, MD; his children, Wanda Frye (Eddie) of Thurmont, MD, Susan Willard (George) of Thurmont, MD, Mary Ellen Eccard (Tim) of Smithsburg, MD and John Grable, Jr. of Thurmont, MD; his grandchildren, Hannah Rouzee (Bryan), Ben Willard and Jody Eccard (Tim Duley); his great grandchildren, Lawson and Kenzly Rouzee; and his siblings, Lucinda Lambert, James Carbaugh, Sr. (Carolyn) and Donald Grable.
