He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle H. Kephart and Esther J. Kephart (Vincent); and his siblings, Donald R. and Ethel L. Kalal. He is survived by: his wife Rita L. Benner; his children, Georgetta B. Scales (Jim) of Mount Airy and James Kephart (Lisa) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Brady Scales and Devin Craig; and his brother Burton Kephart.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. (618 Martin St, Bellwood, PA 16617). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
