Gary L. Williams Obituary
Gary L. Williams, 75, of Bellwood, passed away at Dubois Highland Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2023. Gary was born in Philipsburg on July 10, 1947 a son of the late George F. and Dewella M. Dixon Williams. On September 5, 1970 he married the former Linda (Visk) Williams who survives at home. Also surviving are his children, Melissa (Thomas) Beavers of Fort Collins, CO, Matthew A. Williams of Port Matilda and Megan A. Cameron of West Newton, he also survived by his 6 grandchildren and his Aunt Bernice Fields of Tyrone.
Gary was a 1966 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Gary was the owner of Williams Sanitation in Port Matilda. Gary attended the Port Matilda United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Port Matilda American Legion, Tyrone Elks, and the Eagles of Bellwood.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 6 PM – 8 PM at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor David R. Spaugh, officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery, Huston Twp., Centre Co. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg.
