He is survived by: his children, William Edward Thomas, III and Shelby Leanne Thomas; his sisters, Fran Edmunds (Alan) and Sylvia Jean Thomas; his former wife Shirlene Thomas; and his close friends, Kevin Patterson and Dwight Eskridge.
