He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester O'Laughlin and Isabelle King O'Laughlin Steele; and his siblings, Jack, Judy (Miller), James and William.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara O'Laughlin (Sherman); his children, Jack (Mia) and Colleen; his grandchildren, Emma O'Laughlin and Laina O'Laughlin; and his siblings, Peggy (late Harry Harkins), Christine (Lawrence Hartman), Thomas (Linda), Michael (Jeanne) and Patricia. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank 365 Hospice for their compassionate care, and kindly request those attending the visitation to wear a face mask.
