He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrd Jackson and Othelda Jackson; his son Chad Mikeal Jackson (Victoria); and his sibling Lexie "Ottie" Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Jackson (Steele); his children, Melissa Lynn Clark, Lorie Jean Morrissey (Joseph) and Johnny Lee Jackson, Jr. (Patricia); and his siblings, Rosetta Lewellyn, Bobby Jackson, Betty Leonard, Brydean Shivers, Byrdell "Moe" Jackson, Delano Jackson and Cybil DeNardo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
