He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bell and Marjorie Bell; his stepmother Maxine Bell; and his sister Donna Harper. He is survived by: his children, Lowell Faulkner, David Bell, Jr. (Bridget), Dennis Bell (Heather) and Delisa Vaughan (James); his siblings, Dale Bell, John Bell, Brian Bell and Linda Tullius; and his granddaughter Rebecca Stengel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
