She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Cazún and Mónica Cardona; her husband Arturo Carrera; her daughter Miriam Elizabeth Carrera Gomez; her brother Soto Cardona Cazún; her son-in-law Victor Vicente Hernández; her grandson Stewart Sarazua; her great grandchild Christopher Andrew Hernández; and her granddaughter Mónica Elizabeth Hernández Carrera.
She is survived by: her children, Dora Noelia Carrera (Richard Gratzinger), Erica Lillian Carrera and Adelso Waldemar Carrera (Elsa Carrera); her grandchildren, Juan Carlos Hernández Carrera, Silvia Cristina Hernández-Mekrazi (Imed Mekrazi), Ericka Doreen Hernández Carrera (Clayton James Keefer), Tony Gomez (Nikki Gomez), Steve Gomez (Stacy Gomez) and Jennifer Gomez; her great grandchildren, Dania Vanessa Conte (Matthew Conte), Renato Raúl Illescas Hernández, Rene Elisabeth Sarazua, Amanda Jean Wiehagen, Alexandra Doreen Illescas Hernández (Paul Watt-Morse), Jewel Gomez, Nevaeh Gomez, Silas Gomez, Stuart Gomez, Cameron Jackson Keefer, Stevie Gomez and Sammy Gomez; her great great grandchildren, Xavier Christopher Foley and Daniella Monica Conte; her nephew José Luis Cazún; and her nieces, Erica Cazún and Veronica Lilian Cazún Lemus.
