She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Taft and Edith Maybell Wallace (Steen); her husband Donald E. Mathews, Sr.; her siblings, Betty Lloyd, Robert Wallace, Louise Barr, Juanita Thompson, Charlie Wallace and Diane Snook; her great grandchildren, Colt and Emma Walker; and her son-in-law Brian Spiegel.
She is survived by: her children, Donald E. Mathews, Jr. (Brenda) of Belleville, Venita K. Wagner (David) of Belleville, Carol Lenette Spiegel of Etters and Lynda G. Long of Belleville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
