He was predeceased by: his parents, Toshikiyo Uchida and Sada Uchida (Iwanaga); his wife Mary Uchida (Okagawa); his sister Miyoko Kodama; and also Dick Knupp, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Knupp (Richard) of Bellefonte, Julie Griffis (Richard) of Cimarron and Donna Irvin (Brian) of Arvada, Colorado; his grandchildren, Lindsay Knupp, Maya Knupp, David Griffis, Sara Nemkov, Amy Griffis, Jason Tyner and Michael Tyner; his great grandchildren, James, Ellie Griffis, Hazel, Louis Nemkov, Peyton, Jameson, Janiah, Taleigh and Odin Tyner; and also, Chuck Brown, Bob Royer, Pete Mason and Bob Schaeffer.
