He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Glenn and Helen Suzanne Spearly Benner; and his siblings, Richard, Joseph Benner, Louise Lindsay, Thelma Whitmer and Dorothy Hull.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Elaine Baird; his children, Charlene Myers (Dexter) of Adams, NY and David Glenn Benner (Alice Cesaloni) of Fleming; his siblings, Edward Benner of Boalsburg and Helen Eckley (Dale) of Bellefonte; his granddaughter Kimberlee; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Liam and Noah.
