She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin G. Neff and Florence Neff (Bartley); her husband Claude F. Witmer; and her siblings, Harold Neff, Donald Neff, Robert Neff, Malcolm Neff, Kathryn Spayd and Joan Reish.
She is survived by: her children, Larry F. Witmer (Linda) of Chambersburg, Sandy Hoy (Dan) of Bellefonte and Deb Wagner (Ron) of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Jennifer Andersen (Adam), Annisa Meyers (Cory), Becky Leonard (Barry), Nikki Engleman (Paul), Jeremy Hoy (Molly), Amanda Scott (Jason), Jolene Smeltzer (Ryan), Christina Wagner (Brandon Fonich) and Michele Beecher (Kevin); and her siblings, Louise McMahon of Lemont and James Neff of Bellefonte. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to The Greater Buffalo Run Valley United Methodist Church at 1667 Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
