He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Aikey and Liona Aikey (Fry); and his wife Beverly Aikey (Gross). He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Shaffer; his grandson Michael Shaffer, Jr. of Bellefonte; and his siblings, Joseph Aikey of Milesburg and Edna Mae Way of Unionville.
