He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Gummo and Agnes D. Yakich Gummo; his siblings, Joseph Gummo, William Gummo, Robert Gummo and Elizabeth Gummo; and his granddaughter Patience Bumbarger.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L Shuey; his children, Richard S. Gummo II (Kelly) of Honey Brook, Susan L. Wilson (Thomas Worthy) of Centre Hall and Tina M. Youtzy (Joel) of Gettysburg; and his siblings, John M. Gummo (Terry Rodkey) of Philipsburg, Louise Kustenborder of Huntingdon, Connie Cramer (Leslie) of Marsh Creek, Sharon Gummo of Bellefonte, Rebecca Gummo of Philipsburg, Sandy Smeltzer (Don) of Bellefonte and Geri Lowry of Bellefonte. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
