He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Shomo and Meriam Shomo (Horner); and his wife Sonya J. Karchnak. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Ulmer (Michael) of Bellefonte, Jeffrey Shomo (Rosanne) of State College and Matthew Shomo (Jyllian) of Silver Spring, MD; his grandchildren, Kyle Ulmer (Bethany), Kristi Stringer (Brian), Madison, Camryn Shomo, Raiden Shomo, Shayla and Daniel Growney; his great grandchildren, Grady, Parker and Barrett Stringer; his granddaughters, Kayla, Adeline and Tessa Ulmer; and his siblings, Roger Shomo (Donna) of Onstead, MI and Janet Whysong (Harry) of Johnstown, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
