Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Bednarova (Havlova) and J. D.; and her husband Donald W. Hamer. She is survived by: her siblings, V. M. and Jana Protivankova (Bednarova). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as a great nephew and five great nieces.
For several years, Marka continued Don's philanthropic activities, as one of the Trustees of the Hamer Foundation.
