He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry 'Boots' Haagen and Ruth Haagen (Waltz). He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Amy and David; his children-in-law, Chris Evans and Amy Haagen (Fanning); his grandsons, Adam, Chase, Gage Evans, Ethan and Landon Haagen; and his sister Judy Seymour of Nittany.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Centre Hall Library Association, PO Box 420, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
