He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Bickel and June Bickel; his wife Kathleen Border Bickel; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Kern Bickel. He is survived by: his son Toby J. Bickel (Heather) of Bellefonte; his grandchildren, Trevor Bickel of Bellefonte, Ava Bickel of Bellefonte and Mallory McCauley of Bellefonte; and his sister Christine Knisely (Timothy) of East Berlin, PA..
