He is survived by: his parents, Sidney Coup and Fay Coup (Minnich); and his siblings, Sidney, III of Alexandria, Rosemarie Wolfe (Bruce) of Middletown and Corina Johnstonbaugh (John) of Bellefonte. He is also survived by two nephews and a niece.
He battled dementia for over 12 years before passing away from complications of COVID-19.
