He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Reese, Sr. and Flora E. Reese (Murnyack). He is survived by: his siblings, David B. Reese of Bellefonte, Donald A. Reese (Coleen) of Clarence and Deann L. Dyke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
