He was predeceased by: his parents, John Basalla and Anna Basalla (Mucak); his wife Priscilla A Robinson; his daughter Cynthia Basalla-Taxis; his sons-in-law, Edwin Basalla-Taxis and James Koontz; and his siblings, John, Joe, Andy, Steve, Mary, Anna, Elizabeth, Susan, Verna, Helen and Margaret.
He is survived by: his daughter Georgia Ann Koontz of Neptune Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Ben Basalla-Taxis, Meghan Fiveash and Lindsay Bakula; and his great grandchildren, Lexi (Alexandria), Adelle, Rye, River (James) and Leland.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be private.
