Florence L. Confer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence L. Confer of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence L. Confer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Watkins and Marian Watkins (Leiby); and her siblings, Walter Dwight Watkins, Arthur Leiby Watkins, Raymond Larry Watkins and Frances Anna Barrett.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Confer; her daughter Deborah "Debi" Confer of Bellefonte; her sister-in-law Martha Narehood of Pine Glen; and her pet Theo of Heaven's Gate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home (201 Spring St, Wingate, PA 16853). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Zion Cemetery.
