Florence Jean Hampton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Jean Hampton of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, born in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Z. Helsel and Hazel Frances Helsel (Kent); her husband Bob Hampton; her son Rob Hampton; and her brothers, Bill Helsel and Dr. Charles Helsel.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Laubscher (Kenton) of Howard; her daughter-in-law Theresa Hampton; her grandchildren, Henry Hampton (Sacha), Heath Hampton (Tavia), Amanda Balevic (Steven Balevic), Catherine Hampton (Christopher Bonner), Alexandra Vichinsky (Alexander) and Lauren Laubscher (Jacob Buckland); and her great grandchildren, Alexander Hampton, Isabelle Hampton, Taylor Hampton, David Balevic, Lillian Balevic, Jude Vichinsky and Cade Vichinsky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith United Methodist Church (512 Hughes St, Bellefonte, PA 16823). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jean to Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
