He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland R. Grieb and Regina R. Miller Grieb; and his siblings, Roxanna Poorman, Ruby Shaffer, Adaline Grenoble, Josephine Grieb, Arthur Grieb, Lewis Grieb, Harold Grieb, Kenneth Grieb and Philip Grieb.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley K. Sunday; his children, Donald W. Grieb of Bellefonte and Jodi A. Shaw (Phil) of Bellefonte; his granddaughter Megan Rankin (Lucas) of Bellefonte; and his great grandchildren, Zoe and Gage.
