He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Tyson and Jeanette Tyson (Heverly); and his siblings, Leonard, Kenneth Tyson and Jean Rensis.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Tyson; his sons, Kenneth L. Tyson (Beth) of Lewistown, PA and Boyd L. Tyson (Cathy) of Bellefonte, PA; and his half-brother Gordon Tyson, Jr. (Joann) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
