He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shuey and Fannie Shuey (Felmlee); his wife Lucretia Shuey (Cain); his daughter Debra Peters; and his brother Harry Shuey.

He is survived by: his son Ronald L. Shuey (Edna). He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bud's memory to Centre County PAWS at 1401 Trout Road, State College, PA 16801.
