Edward E Minshall Jr. Obituary

Edward E. Minshall, Jr, 63, of Bellefonte, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Born on August 30, 1960, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Edward E. and Anne K. (Kleiner) Minshall.

Ed graduated from the State College High School in 1978. He also graduated with a certificate in Auto Body from the Centre County Vocational Technical School.

Ed had a love of cars and took a lot of pride in the work he would do in detailing vehicles for those he knew. He collected die cast cars throughout the years. He was a kind and generous soul, often buying and reselling items so that he could donate some of the profits to local food banks and others in need. He loved dogs and knew that he would once again be reunited with his canine companions that preceded him in death. So, on May 5, 2024, he was surely greeted by his loved ones that went before him, including his faithful dogs, Bear, Jack, Arfie, Jasmine, Sydney, and many more.

Ed is survived by his four siblings, Susan Braun of Bietighein, Germany, Nancy Sabol and her husband, Bill, of Port Matilda, Maggie Meyers and her husband, Grant, of Port Matilda, and Bill Minshall of Bellefonte; seven nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother in-law, Guenter Braun.

All services will be held privately for Ed. He will be laid to rest at the Pine Hall Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Faith Center Food Bank, 135 S. Allegheny Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
