He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Bierly and Helen Bierly (Fulton). He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Whippo; his daughters, Lori Padua (Joseph) and Kelly Bierly (Allan Fen); and his siblings, Jon Bierly (Sally), Robert Bierly (Bonnie), Nancy Haupt and Margaret "Peggy" Czacki (Stan). He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
