He was predeceased by: his parent Isabel Fogleman McCool; his wife Gwendolyn J. Hevner; his brother Walter; his sons, Clarence, Jr. and Timothy; and his grandson Derek Auman.
He is survived by: his close friend Pearl Neshteruk; and his children, Sandra Lucas of Bellefonte, Mary Miller (Arthur) of State College, Jenny Watson (Daniel), Michael McCool, Patrick McCool and Tammy Jusits (Edward) of Bellefonte. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
