Charles M. Chronister Obituary
Charles M. "Chuck" Chronister, 66 of Bellefonte passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. Chuck was born on December 25, 1956 in Bellefonte, a son of the late Charles W. Chronister and Evelyn M. Emmil. Chuck is survived by his wife Paula J. (Meyers) Chronister. Also surviving are his children, Samantha N. Chronister (Shawn Eminhizer) of Bellefonte, Charles B. "Chuck" Chronister and Daisy Chronister of Lock Haven and Brian L. and Tiff Chronister of Bellefonte; and his step children, Randy Emmil of Pittsburgh, Timothy and Brandy Shaffer of Pleasant Gap, and Melissa Hamilton of Bellefonte. Chuck is also survived by his siblings, Connie and Howard Grubb of Bellefonte, John and Donna Chronister of Yarnell, Debbie Mitchell of Philipsburg, Larry and Tammy Chronister of Bellefonte, and Barry Chronister of Milesburg; and his grandchildren, Kayden, Jack, Talena, Mason, Kya, Greyson, Patricia, Destiny, Lex, Dusty, Kristopher and Hunter, and one great grandson Alex. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer J. Chronister and his sister-in-law Sheila Chronister.
Chuck was a 1975 graduate of Bellefonte High School and Centre County Vo Tech. He was a Grade A AutoBody Technician for Stockers and State College Ford before retiring from Joel Confer of Bellefonte in 2021.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the wildlife in his yard, riding his four wheeler, being outside in general, and especially spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his corny jokes, his one of a kind laugh and his warm hugs.
