Carol Lenhart Obituary
Carol "Tink" Lenhart, 72, of Bellefonte passed away peacefully with her daughter and older sister by her side at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. Tink was born in Bellefonte on April 21, 1950 to the late Philip L Leathers and Irene A. (Traxler) Leathers. She married the love of her life, James "Jim" Lenhart on April 27, 1985, who preceded her in death on January 3, 1998. Tink is survived by her daughter, Elise Lenhart, her sisters, Diana "Skeet" (Bill) Moore and Kimberley (Grant) Packer. She is also survived by two nephews, Bill Moore, Jr., Jeff Moore (Tammy), two nieces Julia Packer (Nick) and Casey Mitchell (Jeremy) and numerous great nieces, nephews and friends who became family.
Tink spent most of her working life as a legal secretary at the law firm of Lee, Green and Reiter in Bellefonte until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, reading a good book, drinking Miller Lite and telling people how it is whether they liked it or not.
A Celebration of Life for Tink will be held at the Bellefonte Moose Lodge 206, 125 N. Spring St., Bellefonte on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 3:00 PM with her daughter, Rev. Elise Lenhart officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for a Smoke Free World, https://www.smokefreeworld.org in memory of Tink.
