Alicia S. Hall Obituary
Alicia S. "Jo" Hall, 92, of Runville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 10, 2023. Born on May 14, 1931, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Lynn B. and Helen (Kelsey) Schuyler. On August 4, 1950, in Lock Haven, she married Rodman L. Hall, Sr. Rodman passed away on December 2, 2013.
Jo was a 1949 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She attended business school in Williamsport. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Bellefonte. She worked as a classroom aid at the Bald Eagle Area High School and then became a personal care aid for both the high school and Wingate Elementary School. After retirement, Jo volunteered at Centre Crest Nursing Home. She was a Girl Scout leader for Milesburg Troop 391 for many years.
Jo is survived by her six children: Rodman Hall, Jr. of Lock Haven; Cynthia Whitaker and her husband, Jeff, of Charles Town, WV; Kim Hall and his wife, Amy, of Woodland; Barbara Bagley and her husband, David, of Runville; Wendy Catherman and her husband, Brian, of Julian; and Kevin Hall and his wife, Emily, of Madisonburg. She is also survived by one sister, Jerre Musser of Solomons, MD; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Jo was preceded in death by an infant son, Sydney; infant grandson, Nathan Bagley; and a grandson, Joachim Hall.
Family and friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, 539 Jacksonville Rd, Bellefonte on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 5-6pm followed by the funeral service at 6pm with Pastor Greg Shipe and Pastore Ron Berrus officiating. The burial will be private at Trcziyulny Cemetery in Milesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 539 Jacksonville Rd, Bellefonte, PA 16823 or to the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Centre County, 539 Jacksonville Rd, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
