He was predeceased by: his parents, Gino Niccolai and Fabiola Sylvester Niccolai; and his sisters, Kathleen McCullough, Joann Vizza and Jean Boyce.

He is survived by: his wife Marcella Tomalski Niccolai; his children, Monica Niccolai (Melanie), Ralph Nicolai of New Bethlehem, PA and Susan Mastovich (Paul) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Ashley Vaccaro (Christian), Ryan Niccolai, Nicholas Mastovich, Noah Mastovich and Rachel Niccolai; his great grandchild Emma Lynn Vaccaro; his brother Harry; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Niccolai of Monessen, Dorothy Ramsier, Marie Tonarelli, Annette Suppa (Sam) and Tom. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Volunteer Fire Department where he served as past recording secretary, served as a trustee for the Fox Education Foundation, was a member of the Washington Twp.
