George M. Leasure Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Leasure of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Leasure and Ethel Crise Leasure; his wife Dorothy Ivy Vickers; his brothers, Chester W. Leasure, Edgar Leasure and Ernest Leasure (Pete); and his nephews, Marlin Leasure and Thomas Leasure.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Leasure of Los Angeles, Penny Sparrow (Glenn) of Newport News, Alan (MaryAnn) of Cambridge, Chet (Dagmar) of Mainz Germany, Rodger (Karyl) of Rostraver Township and Susan Owens of Belle Vernon; and his grandchildren, Wil Ambrose, Robbie Leasure, Alicia Ambrose, Brenda Allen, Becky Spiker, Larissa Bowling, Alan Leasure Jr., Gina Owens, Shawna Mittelsteadt and Sam Cooke.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association and Shriners Hospitals.
