He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Orner and Flora Meyers Orner; his wife Mildred F. Dickey; his daughter-in-law Delilah Orner; and his grandson Timothy Orner.
He is survived by: his children, Sheldon A. Orner of Colorado, Gary Orner (Anna) of Beech Creek, Dorothy Jean Scantlin (Doyle) of North Carolina, Joy Schmeer (Harry) of Leesport and Jane E. Lininger (Edward) of Beech Creek; and his sister Rovena Fenstamaker of Wisconsin. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
