He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bechdel and Rebecca Fravel Bechdel; his son Thomas Bechdel, Sr.; his son-in-law Thomas Leitch, Sr.; and his brother Lloyd Bechdel.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bechdel; his children, Judy Musselman of Carlisle, Charles Bechdel, Jr. (Suzanne) of Beech Creek, Jean Leitch of Lock Haven, Linda Rhoades (Larry, Jr.) of State College, Karen Bitner (Todd) of Blanchard, Deborah Riegle (Steven) of Centre Hall, Steven Bechdel (Shelly) of Beech Creek and Scott Bechdel of Lock Haven; his daughter-in-law Tammy Bechdel of Beech Creek; and his brothers, Jack of Mill Hall and Jim Bechdel of Mill Hall. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; and 41 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Charles' name may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
