He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Schleiden and Mary Schleiden; his brother Bert Schleiden; and his brother-in-law Ron Bonz. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Richard Sprangers (Maggie) and Michael Sprangers (Laura); his grandchildren, Dina, Crystal, Gavin, Addy and Lola; his siblings, Mary Garris (Jim), Ruth Bonz and Frank Schleiden (Trish); and his sister-in-law Joan Schleiden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
