He was predeceased by: his sisters, Priscilla and Delta; and his parents, William L. Defibaugh and Frances Defibaugh (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Maurer (Maurer); and his children, William L. Defibaugh, II (Bill), Barbara L. Loshaw, Nancy J. Pyle and Rebecca R. Hughes (James). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
