She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Diehl and Helen Diehl (James); her husband William H. Spade; and her siblings, James Diehl, John Diehl, Larry Diehl, Ronald Diehl and Lucy Jane Miller.

She is survived by: her friend Cove; her children, Vicki Lee (David Lohr) of Everett, Kenneth A. Spade (Iris) of Greencastle and CheChee A. (Joel Critchfield) of Houston, Texas; and her sister Susie (Larry Beach) of Hopewell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
