It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Hackney of Bedford, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent S. Lee; and her husband Reid Hackney. She is survived by: her children, Reid A. Hackney (Sherry) of San Antonio, TX and Elizabeth Chaderwick (Rick) of Windber; and her granddaughters, Sarah Hackney of Irwin, Beth Boroumand (Amir) of Pittsburgh, Leah Thompson (Kris) of Johnstown and Heather Chaderwick (Alex Stahl) of Davidsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to The Seeing Eye, P.O. Box 375, Morristown, NJ 07963-0375.
